Metro Lost Bike Program

The Bicycle Alliance of Washington administers the "Lost Bike" program for King County Metro.

If you left your bicycle on a Metro bus, call 206-903-8075 and leave a message with the following information:

  • Your Name
  • Your Phone Number(s)
  • Description of your bicycle (details help!)
  • The Bus Route (number) on which you left your bike
  • The Date and Time you left your bike

Please use this number only for lost bicycles. For all other lost and found items, contact Metro's Lost and Found. On a Sound Transit vehicle? Check out Sound Transit Lost & Found.

Ever wonder what happens to the unclaimed bikes?

The bikes are donated to several different 501(c)3 organizations in the Puget Sound area:

  • Mason County SOCK (Save Our County's Kids)
The YES! (Youth Empowerment Strategies) uses some of the Lost Bikes for their free bicycle library, serving the temporary transportation needs that a bike can fill. More info at www.sock.org
