 | Kristin Kinnamon [President] Marysville
Kristin is the past president of BIKES Club of Snohomish County and works for Community Transit. She has organized Snohomish County Bike to Work events and coordinated the first Snohomish County Bike Map. Kristin recently ended a term on the board of the Snohomish County Tourism Bureau and as lifelong Girl Scout, enjoys the outdoors including bicycle touring across the Western U.S. as well as in Canada, France and Spain. She and her partner live in Marysville with one car, nine bikes and a well-used bus pass. |
 | King Cushman [Vice President] Seattle
King commuted by bike or bus to downtown Seattle before retiring from the Puget Sound Regional Council in 2007. He now enjoys leisurely bike riding with his wife, children and grandchildren. As a transportation professional King found that communities which plan for and deliver travel alternatives to the auto offer the broadest benefits for commuters, shoppers, schools, community health and safety, the economy, and ultimately taxpayers. |
 | Thom Skaanland [2nd VP] Enumclaw
Thom has been on the board since 1998. He worked at the Weyerhaeuser Company where he helped develop a commute trip reduction program and again when encouraging the newly formed city of Federal Way to take bicycling needs seriously. Thom is focused on growing and retaining BAW membership. He and his wife look forward to spending more time on their tandem, and eventually providing service through medical/health mission work. |
 | Eileen Hyatt [Secretary] Spokane
Eileen Hyatt has been a member of the Bicycle Alliance for over 10 years. As a retired teacher in Spokane and a League of American Bicyclists (LAB) Certified Instructor, Eileen has focused on educating bicyclists of all ages to safely and effectively use our roads for transportation, recreation and exercise. |
 | Mark U Thomas [Treasurer] Redmond
Mark is a reformed corporate executive, lawyer, a former high school science teacher and an avid long-distance road cyclist. He is currently the president of the Seattle International Randonneurs and a former president of Randonneurs USA, organizations devoted to long-distance riding. Mark and his wife Chris own Sammamish Valley Cycle in Redmond and have two teenage children. |
 | Ralph Wessels [Ex-Officio] Gig Harbor
Ralph has served on the BAW board in many capacities since 1998 including president. He is an engineer, works at the Port of Seattle and is currently on the State Transportation Improvement Board as the non-motorized representative. Ralph and his wife, Dena, live in Gig Harbor where they are active members of the Tacoma Wheelmen's Bicycle Club. He is also part of the organizing team that host the Ride Around Puget Sound (RAPSody), which dedicates all of its proceeds to BAW. |

 | Mary Anderson Bellingham
Mary commutes by bicycle year round. She is the Safe Routes to School Coordinator for the Whatcom Council of Governments and served as everybodyBIKE coordinator organizing approximately 100 events in 2008. These events reached 17,443 Whatcom County residents including 3,500 school children who participated in bicycle rodeos and school wide assemblies. As a parent of a young child she is passionate about helping parents commute by bicycle with their children. |
 | Rick Browning Seattle
Richard is a past member and committee chair of Portland's Bicycle Advisory Committee. He also chaired the committee that created Portland's first bike master plan. He has worked closely with legislators and other visionary bike advocates. As an architect Richard has experience in designing good built environments for cycling and walking. |
 | Bob Duffy Lacey
Bob is a committed lifelong bicyclist. He served in the Naval Air and became an environmental planner working at local and state positions, retiring in 2007. Bob is a member of the Capital Bicycling Club and volunteers his time on many bicycling related projects. He also enjoys recreational bicycling, hiking, XC and telemark skiing, kayaking and travel. |
 | Sarah Gelineau Tonasket
Sarah is both a road and mountain bicyclist. Once a commuting bicyclist as a project manager, she now works seeking out new adventures. Sarah was a long-time resident of Kitsap County and a member of West Sound Cycling Club. Other pursuits include hiking, mountaineering, Olympic Mountain Rescue Board member, canoeing and PAWS of Bremerton volunteer. She and her husband are now building a log home in Tonasket where they plan to explore new roads, trails, mountains and rivers. |
 | Julie A. Gregg Seattle
Julie sits on the Board of Directors of her family's business, Gregg's Cycles. She was Sportworks NW's VP of their Quick-load Bike Rack Division. Her professional life has been dedicated to the bicycle industry including attending the National Bicycle Summit in Washington D.C. lobbying Congressional leaders on behalf of cyclists. Julie participates in road & mountain biking, touring & commuting, and racing on the velodrome where she took home a silver medal the 1991 Pan American Games in Cuba. She also shares her love of the bike with her young son. |
 | Ted Inkley Seattle
Ted rides his bike every day and believes that bicycles are an under-appreciated tool in the fight against pollution, obesity, global warming, transportation gridlock and general human crankiness. When he's not riding his bike he likes to hike, cross-country ski, canoe and sample the NW's great beers. Ted is an assistant city attorney for the City of Seattle. He and his wife Alison have two children. |
| Karen Kuever Seattle
Karen has over 12 years in leadership positions on numerous boards and committees with skills in advocacy, fundraising and communication. Karen has a passionate commitment to bicycling and plans to use her relationships with many of our legislators to further that interest. She is also a Cascade Bicycle Club member. |

Amy is a physical education curriculum consultant and works with districts and schools around the country to transform their programs from a sports-based model to a fitness and health concepts based model. She is the Bicycle Curriculum Specialist for the Spokane Public Schools and is certified from the League of American Bicyclists (LAB)). Amy has been involved in promoting Safe Routes to School for several years. |
 | Dave Manelski Seattle
Dave works at ONE/Northwest as a database consultant, bringing his experience in nonprofit communications, outreach, & fundraising to the fore. He spent six years at Earth Share of Washington where he organized conservation groups and environmental leaders. As an everyday bicycle commuter and casual cycle tourist, he is passionate about promoting cycling in Washington State. Dave and his wife, Suzanne, have one child. He enjoys numerous outdoor pursuits including cycle touring. |
 | Joan McBride Kirkland
Joan McBride is Deputy Mayor of Kirkland where she has served over 10 years on City Council. She's a staunch supporter of enhanced bike and pedestrian facilities and safety. Joan helped pass Kirkland's Complete Streets Ordinance, making the city the first in the state to do so. She has broad transportation experience, is a member of the council's legislative committee and enjoys lobbying in Olympia and recently in Washington D.C. |

David is a longtime volunteer for bicycling causes. He shops, commutes (since 3rd grade), and vacations by bike. David is a teacher of bike repair for big kids at Bike Works and provided computer support for Bike Works and Bicycle Alliance for many years. He is dedicated to making the world a better place one pedal revolution at a time. |
 | Liz McNett Crowl Mount Vernon
Liz is a Healthy Communities Specialist where she works with community partners to increase opportunities and environments that foster physical activity. She is primarily a recreation and fitness cyclist, and is a LAB certified bike educator. Liz walks her talk of physical activity for health - teaching at the YMCA indoor cycling or aerobics, rowing her shell, riding her new purple Rodriguez Rainer bike with friends and family, and walking nearly 1,000 miles every year. |
 | Bobby Mullins Seattle
Bobby is a retail manager at the Seattle REI store. He began working on bicycle advocacy in 1998, serving a two year term on the Seattle Bicycle Advisory Board. He is a regular bicycle commuter, and walking school bus leader at his kid's school. He spends his free time planning his dream ride across America in 2012. Bobby lives in Seattle with his wife and two children. |
| Jill Priest Olympia
Jill is an active member of the West Sound Cycling Club and was a member of RAPSody Planning Team. She is also a member of the Kitsap County Roads Committee and is interested in increasing safety, education and accessibility for cyclists, pedestrians and other non-motorized travelers. Jill is retired and lives in Olympia. |

Erin is a triathlete and recreational road cyclist. She has been active, and in leadership positions, in a number of Tri City area regional non profit and civic organizations. Erin is involved in her local running and triathlon club and enjoys riding in the beautiful scenery of Eastern Washington. She is a sales rep. for Novo Nordisk Inc. |
 | John X Whitlow Bainbridge Island
John is an architect for Collins Woerman in Seattle. He is a former Cat 3 racer and bike commuter. John and his wife are both active with the West Sound Cycling Club as ride leaders and volunteers. John is coordinating West Sound's support for the Ride Around Puget Sound this year. He has served as the chairperson on the Washington State Ferries Community Advisory Group for Winslow. |

 | Dave Janis [Acting Executive Director] Seattle
Dave has been with the BAW for 7 years. He developed the BAW Safe Routes to School Program (SR2S) giving it a state wide presence and serves on the SR2S National Partnership Steering Committee. Dave works closely with the public health community and agencies at the local and state level, and serves on several committees and boards. Prior to joining the BAW he worked in the environmental consulting business. |
 | Every Day [Commute Specialist] Bainbridge Island
Every bought her first bike at age 13, a Motobecane Nomade 10 speed, and rode it 25 years, changing hairstyles and handlebars numerous times along the way. To rehab after knee surgery, Every learned to love long road rides, and took up touring. She refined her bicycle commuting while living in Portland then relocated to the Seattle area 2 years ago. She has been at BAW since April 2008 and lives in Suquamish where she also enjoys playing music and fishing. |
 | Louise McGrody [Special Project Manager] Seattle
Louise has been at the BAW since 1994 and is the institutional memory of the organization. She produces the e-newsletter, The Advocate, and generates many of the email communications. Louise also assists advocates with bike projects and issues in their communities, provides advocacy training, and coordinates the annual auction. Outside of the BAW she can be found hiking and skiing in the Cascades. |
 | JoAnn Yoshimoto [Development Director] Seattle
JoAnn Yoshimoto, CFRE, is BAW's first Development Director. A veteran fundraising professional, she has been involved with a wide variety of organizations. She holds a deep appreciation for the third sector and its collective vision of creating a better world. JoAnn is cycle tourist and enjoys exploring the world by hiking, kayaking, conversing with local folks, and munching its cuisines. |
 | Donna Govro [Office Coordinator and Membership Assistant] Seattle
Donna commutes by bike from West Seattle and is a longtime Bikestation user. In her spare time, besides bicycling, Donna enjoys hiking, volunteering, edible gardening, and spending time with family and friends. |
